Product Introduction

The YB-2010 Non-Magnetic Audio Communication System is a professional stereo audio system specially designed for MRI environments. It delivers clear, comfortable audio for patients and features a simple, user-friendly operation interface for medical staff.
Equipped with non-magnetic, RF-interference-free drive units, it features a flat frequency response curve for authentic sound field reproduction. The full-coverage headset can reduce scanning noise by more than 20 dB.

System Composition

  • The non-magnetic audio system consists of the following components: Audio Main Control Console, Audio Drive Box, Dedicated Full-Cover Headset, Special Noise-Reduction Ear Plugs, High-Fidelity Speakers, and DVD Player.
  • Audio Main Control Console: When the power switch (ON) is pressed, the system powers on and the green indicator light on the power switch illuminates.

Audio Channels

  • Main Music Channel: Accepts line-input audio signals via AUX OUT1 or AUX OUT2.
  • Line Input (AUX INPUT): Receives stereo signals from CD players, DVD players, desktop PCs, laptop computer sound card audio outputs, and other devices.
  • Output level amplitude for audio channels is adjusted via the LEVEL knob, with visual feedback from level meter bars. A level reading of 40%–60% on the meter bars generally delivers a comfortable volume for patients (in the presence of scanning noise).
  • Patient Feedback Volume Control (PATIENT): This knob adjusts the volume of audio fed back from the patient. Audio outputs through speakers connected to the console, letting operators hear the patient’s audio while the level bar displays signal amplitude.
  • Local Microphone Volume Control (MASTER): This knob adjusts the local microphone output volume, which is the operator’s audio volume heard by the patient through their headset. A level reading of 40%–60% on the meter bars generally delivers a comfortable volume for patients (in the presence of scanning noise).
  • Microphone Talk Button: Mounted on the microphone base. Press and hold this button for the patient to hear the operator’s voice (Push-to-Talk function).
