Waste protection box
Key words:
Waste protection box
Product Introduction
The Radioactive Waste Decay Box is a dedicated radiation shielding and temporary storage device developed for nuclear medicine departments, radiotherapy centers and radioactive laboratories. It is specially used for the safe collection, isolation and temporary decay storage of short-lived radioactive waste generated during nuclide diagnosis, iodine treatment and radiopharmaceutical operations.
The equipment adopts high-density lead shielding structure and double-layer 304 stainless steel shell, which provides excellent ray attenuation performance, effectively prevents radiation leakage and avoids secondary radiation pollution.
Product Performance
- A sliding cover plate equipped with a rotating input port.
- Equip with four load-bearing universal casters with locking mechanisms.
- It can be placed either movably or fixedly.
- Anti-fingerprint treatment on the appearance, with no fingerprints on the surface.
Technical Parameters
| material:Lead, 304 stainless steel | Lead shielding:20mmPb |
| size:400mm(H) x 400mm(W) x 500mm(L) |
Application Fields

- Department of Radiology:The Department of Radiology is a comprehensive department integrating imaging diagnosis and interventional therapy. Radiological diagnosis employs X-rays, gamma rays and other radiation to penetrate the human body, rendering images of internal bodily structures and organs on fluorescent screens or radiographic films, enabling evaluation of human anatomical morphology, physiological functions and pathological lesions.
- Department of Radiation Oncology:Radiation oncology is a localized therapeutic modality that uses ionizing radiation for cancer treatment. Radiation sources include alpha, beta and gamma rays emitted from radioactive isotopes, as well as X-rays, electron beams, proton beams and other particle beams generated by various X-ray therapy units and medical accelerators.
- Department of Nuclear Medicine:It adopts nuclear science technologies for disease diagnosis and treatment. As an integrated department combining imaging, therapeutic services, scientific research and teaching, it serves as one of the core modalities in modern medicine.
