Radiation protection doors are doors used for radiation protection. With the increase in personnel working in hospitals, radiation protection doors have also been widely used. They are used to block the entry and exit of radiation, mainly applied in special places such as hospitals and computer rooms. However, when using radiation protection doors, we need to install them ourselves. So how do we install radiation protection doors?
The radiation protection door is a type of door used for radiation protection. With the increase in personnel working in hospitals, radiation protection doors have also been widely used. This type of door can prevent the entry and exit of radiation, mainly applied in special places such as hospitals and machine rooms. However, when using radiation protection doors, we need to install them ourselves. So how do we install a radiation protection door?
1. First, it is essential to formally produce and install the door. Before installation, you should go to the construction site to carefully verify the position, quantity, and dimensions of the radiation protection door, and be responsible for the quantity and dimensions produced.
2. Place the completed radiation protection door into the door opening. If necessary, you can remove the door leaf to ensure that the inner edge of the radiation protection door fits flush with the wall and is vertical. Correct the flatness of the wall surface if needed.
3. Vertically position the side frame of the radiation protection door to ensure that points and surfaces are on the same plane.
4. Once the door frame is in place, check its verticality, horizontality, and diagonal measurements. Adjust it according to design requirements to ensure consistent installation height and distance from both inner and outer wall surfaces, as well as uniform width at the top and bottom of the door frame.
5. When installing the radiation protection door, adjust the vertical position of the lock to ensure that the gap between the door leaf and the door frame is even and consistent, then secure it.
6. Temporarily fix the door frame with bolts and recheck to ensure accurate installation dimensions.
7. After the cement slurry or foam glue has dried, remove any spacers and their pads.
When installing a radiation protection door, it is crucial to follow the installation sequence strictly. However, we must pay attention to measuring dimensions on-site before installing the door frame and cross-checking with drawings and relevant design changes for verification and technical disclosure. Determine the opening direction; installation of the door frame must strictly adhere to design and relevant specifications. After installation is complete, be sure to check that the installed radiation protection door opens and closes smoothly.
